Ashley vs Timperley
Date: 8th August 2008
Venue: Ashley
Toss won by:

Ashley Under 13s couldn’t back up a
superb bowling performance with the bat and fell 18 runs short against
Timperley on Friday night. Openers Semple and Lavers reduced TCC to 18 for 4
off 5 overs before Boughan and Jackson trebled the score. Tom Bragg and
Hishan Felix applied the brakes with miserly spells and Hawksley, Wright and
Graham bowled well at the end to restrict Timperley to only 71.
Once Eaton was bowled by the voluable
& impressive Scrace the Ashley batsmen struggled to hit the boundaries
needed.
