Following the friendly rain off from the previous week, Ashley 3rd looked to kick off the campaign in the cup against Urmston. 

However, the rain teased and toyed with us until about 3:00 when the skippers, after much pitch prodding, and chin stroking, decided to call it off.

Congratulations on Pete Burgess on being the first 3rd XI captain since 1911 to go into May with an unbeaten record.
