The first of two games in a week against Lindow went the way of the home side by 42 runs on Friday. All the Ashley bowlers worked hard to keep the run rate down and nobody left the field with poor bowling figures. Special mention to Toby Hawksley who after bowling 10 balls of medium pace finished off with 2 balls of leg spin, the first should have resulted in a wicket, the second bowled Braddock around his legs. Eaton generated some pace of a short run and then with the bat hit his 5th score of 30 or more in his last 6 innings.
